As a reliable partner of communities and companies, the Berlinwasser Group is engaged in water management worldwide. The group looks back upon a 150 year long tradition of Berliner Wasserbetriebe in the water supply and waste water disposal in Berlin.

The Berlinwasser Holding plc was founded in the year 2000 and is the holding company of the Berlinwasser Group, which was created in the process of the restructuring of the Berliner Wasserbetriebe in the end of 1999.

The shareholders of the Berlinwasser Holding plc are the state of Berlin with a controlling share of 75.05% and Veolia Environnement with 24.95%.
